Description
Grind into a cup, tip it into the portafilter, wipe the counter. Every morning.
The G3 grinds straight into a 51, 54 or 58 mm portafilter and remembers the dose you set. Clamp it in, press once, walk away. The grounds go from the burrs to the basket and nowhere else.
- The dose goes where it gets brewed: the cradle takes 51, 54 and 58 mm portafilters, so nothing is lost to a transfer between two vessels.
- Set it once, not every morning: automatic and manual modes with a memory setting, so the dose you dialled in is the dose you get tomorrow.
- 31 settings across the whole range: 40 mm stainless steel conical burrs on a numbered gear scale, from espresso fine to pour-over coarse.
- Small enough to leave out: 219 × 164 × 364 mm and 1.6 kg, on a 200 W motor.
Who this is for, and who it isn't
A good fit if you pull espresso at home on a 51, 54 or 58 mm portafilter and want the grinder to dose straight into it, or you are leaving a blade grinder behind and want something automatic rather than something to learn.
Look elsewhere if you grind continuously: HiBREW documents an overheat cut-out after roughly ten consecutive cycles, with a thirty-minute cool-down, and publishes an error code for it. If you want a large burr, because 40 mm is at the small end and will not match a 64 mm machine for speed or for consistency at the fine end. And if you need the voltage settled before you buy, because the reseller listing this unit came from mixes the G3 up with HiBREW's G3A, which is rated 220–240 V only. See Shipping and returns for what we confirm before anything ships.

These figures are HiBREW's own, taken from the manufacturer's published product page for the G3, not from the reseller listing we bought against, which carried no product specifications at all. Two things do not line up, and we print both rather than choose between them:
- Grind settings: HiBREW's current page for the G3 states 31. Its own older product imagery, and the reseller's title, state 34.
- Which model this is: the reseller's structured data says G3, but its title borrows "Visual Bean Storage", which is how HiBREW names the G3A. The G3A is a different machine: 220 W rather than 200 W, and HiBREW rates it for 220–240 V only, with no 110–127 V rating.
That second point decides whether this runs on a US outlet, so we do not treat it as settled. See Shipping and returns for what we confirm before anything ships.
HiBREW also publishes a residue-removal percentage and a grinding-efficiency percentage for this model. We do not reproduce either. They are marketing figures, not measurements we can stand behind.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping is free on every order. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and delivered in 6–8 business days.
We confirm the voltage in writing before this ships. HiBREW rates the G3 for 110–127 V as well as 220–240 V, but rates the G3A for 220–240 V only, and the reseller listing this unit came from carries both model names. Rather than assume, we ask the supplier which build is in the box and tell you before dispatch. If it is not a US-voltage unit, we cancel and refund rather than ship you something you cannot plug in.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. There is no restocking fee. If anything about the condition of your order is wrong on arrival, contact us before doing anything else and we will sort it out with you.
Warranty
HiBREW is a real manufacturer that publishes support and warranty terms, but this unit does not come through HiBREW's US distribution, so we do not advertise a HiBREW warranty on it. We will not promise service we do not control.
If your unit arrives damaged or fails out of the box, contact us and we will take it up with the supplier on your behalf. If manufacturer coverage decides your purchase, ask us before ordering and we will establish in writing what HiBREW will honour on a unit bought this way.

Why grinding into the portafilter matters more than it sounds
Every transfer loses grounds. Grind into a cup, tip it into the basket, and some of the dose stays in the cup and some ends up on the counter. It is a small loss, but it is a different small loss every morning, which is what makes shots vary for reasons that have nothing to do with the coffee.
A cradle that holds 51, 54 and 58 mm portafilters removes the transfer entirely. The dose goes from the burrs to the basket and nowhere else. That is most of what a grinder this size can do for espresso repeatability. The burrs do the rest, and at 40 mm there is a limit to how much rest there is, which is the honest trade at this price.
What HiBREW publishes that most sellers leave out
HiBREW documents an error code for this grinder: E-2, overheating, after roughly ten consecutive grinding cycles, with a thirty-minute cool-down before it will restart. Almost no listing for this machine mentions it. We do, because it tells you precisely what the machine is built for: a household making a few coffees in a morning, not a queue.
Everything in the Specifications above comes from HiBREW's own product page. The reseller sheet we were given contained no specifications whatsoever: a shipping FAQ, a note about Saudi frequency labelling, and the manufacturer's B2B contact address. Where HiBREW's figures and the reseller's title disagree, on the number of grind settings and on whether this is a G3 or a G3A, both versions are printed above instead of us picking the convenient one.
Frequently asked questions
Start with the brew method, not the spec sheet. Espresso needs a fine, repeatable grind and rewards flat burrs or a stepless conical. Pour-over, drip and French press run coarser and are far more forgiving, so a stepped conical covers all three.
If you are unsure, email us with how you brew and which machine you use. We will tell you whether a grinder fits — and if it does not, which one does.
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and delivered in 6–8 business days after that.
The window is stated before you pay rather than after. If yours passes, email us and we will chase it rather than wait for you to ask twice.
US orders ship with the US plug variant. Where a manufacturer does not publish a voltage or plug type, we say so in the Shipping & Returns section above instead of assuming — and you can email us and we will get it from the supplier in writing before you buy.
Contact us first, with photos or a short video. We take it up with the supplier on your behalf and arrange a replacement or a refund.
Reach us before opening a payment dispute — it is faster, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. Contact us before sending anything back — returns received without notice take considerably longer to process.
Not yet as catalogue items. If you need a burr set or a spare for a grinder you bought from us, email us and we will source it from the supplier and quote you.
We would rather tell you that than list parts we cannot reliably ship.
