Description
Flat burrs, on a counter that has no room for a 64 mm grinder.
54 mm stainless steel flat burrs in a body that fits under a kitchen cabinet, the same burr geometry that dominates the top of the espresso category, in the compact format.
- Flat geometry where espresso is least forgiving: 54 mm stainless steel flat burrs. Flat burrs narrow the spread of particle sizes, which is the part of the grind espresso reacts to most.
- A hopper you empty in days, not weeks: 50 g, so the beans waiting at the top are not stale by the time you reach them.
- You can see the grind running: an LED display on the front, instead of counting seconds in your head.
- It lives under a cabinet: 11 × 19 × 29 cm and 4.7 kg, against the bench-sized footprint most flat burr grinders ask for.
Who this is for
A good fit if you pull espresso at home and want flat burrs without giving up the counter to them. Look elsewhere if you single dose, because this is a hopper grinder; if you need a published grind-step count or micron scale, because the manufacturer does not publish one and we will not estimate it; or if the housing material and dose capacity have to be confirmed before you buy, because the manufacturer's own documentation contradicts itself on both. We have reproduced both figures in the Specifications rather than choose between them.

Two figures are inconsistent in the documentation we were given. We reproduce both rather than pick the flattering one:

- Housing material: aluminum alloy in the specification table, plastic in the product attributes.
The manufacturer does not publish a grind-step count, micron range, retention figure or certification for this model. Anything we told you there would be a guess, so we leave it out. Ask us and we will request any of it from the supplier in writing before you buy.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping is free on every order. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and delivered in 6–8 business days.
Voltage is not selectable on this listing. The manufacturer lists both 100–120V/60Hz and 220–240V/50Hz for this model but offers no voltage option at order. Ask us before ordering and we will confirm the US configuration with the supplier in writing.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. There is no restocking fee. If anything about the condition of your order is wrong on arrival, contact us before doing anything else and we will sort it out with you.
Warranty
This grinder is sold unbranded and the manufacturer publishes no warranty term for it, so we do not advertise one. If your unit arrives damaged or fails out of the box, contact us and we will take it up with the supplier on your behalf. If you want coverage confirmed in writing before you buy, ask us and we will get it.
Contact Us
Not sure this is the right grinder for you? Tell us how you brew — espresso, pour-over, drip, French press — and what machine you are using. We will tell you whether this one fits, and if it does not, we will point you to the one that does.

Why flat burrs, and why 54 mm
Flat burrs cut between two parallel rings, so a bean passes through a single gap and comes out closer to one size. Conical burrs grind through a tapering gap, which produces a wider spread. Espresso is the brew method most sensitive to that spread, which is why flat burrs dominate the top of the espresso category.
54 mm is the compact end of that format. It grinds a dose more slowly than a 64 mm burr and it will not keep up with a café queue. What it gives you is the same geometry in a body you do not have to clear half a counter for.
What the manufacturer does not tell you
This grinder is sold unbranded. The supplier's own sheet lists the brand as none and the model as DF54. That is ordinary in this category, but it means there is no manufacturer support line behind it and no published warranty. We would rather say that than imply one exists.
The documentation also contradicts itself twice: dose capacity appears as 20 g in one place and 30 g in another, and the housing is listed as aluminum alloy in one table and plastic in another. Both figures are printed in the Specifications above instead of us choosing between them. If either one decides your purchase, ask us and we will get the answer from the supplier in writing before you order.
Frequently asked questions
Start with the brew method, not the spec sheet. Espresso needs a fine, repeatable grind and rewards flat burrs or a stepless conical. Pour-over, drip and French press run coarser and are far more forgiving, so a stepped conical covers all three.
If you are unsure, email us with how you brew and which machine you use. We will tell you whether a grinder fits — and if it does not, which one does.
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and delivered in 6–8 business days after that.
The window is stated before you pay rather than after. If yours passes, email us and we will chase it rather than wait for you to ask twice.
US orders ship with the US plug variant. Where a manufacturer does not publish a voltage or plug type, we say so in the Shipping & Returns section above instead of assuming — and you can email us and we will get it from the supplier in writing before you buy.
Contact us first, with photos or a short video. We take it up with the supplier on your behalf and arrange a replacement or a refund.
Reach us before opening a payment dispute — it is faster, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. Contact us before sending anything back — returns received without notice take considerably longer to process.
Not yet as catalogue items. If you need a burr set or a spare for a grinder you bought from us, email us and we will source it from the supplier and quote you.
We would rather tell you that than list parts we cannot reliably ship.
