We sell coffee grinders, and we tell you which one not to buy
Atelier 58 is a small online shop built around one idea: the grinder matters more than almost anything else in your setup, and almost nobody will help you choose one honestly.
Search for a coffee grinder and you get two kinds of results. Manufacturers, who can only tell you their own grinder is the right one. And marketplaces, where forty models sit in a grid with no guidance at all. Neither tells you the thing you actually need to know: which grinder fits your brew method, your machine and your budget, and which one would be a waste of your money.
How we work
We say who a product is not for
Every product page has a section explaining who should not buy that grinder. A 48 mm conical burr grinder is a genuinely good choice for daily filter coffee and a poor one for serious espresso, and we write that on the page. If a product is wrong for you, we would rather you knew before ordering than after.
We state the delivery window before you pay
Shipping is free on every order within the United States. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and delivered in 6–8 business days after that, so 7–11 business days in total. That window is on every product page and in our Shipping Policy before you pay, not after. Long delivery times are the most common complaint in this category, and hiding them is why.
We only publish specifications we can source
If a manufacturer has not published a figure, we do not print it. You will occasionally see us leave a spec blank rather than guess at it. That is deliberate.
What you will not find here
- No countdown timers, no "only 3 left", no invented urgency.
- No review scores or customer counts we have not earned. We are a new shop. When we have real reviews, we will show real reviews.
- No product sold under a brand name it does not carry.
Where we are going
We are starting deliberately small, with a focused range, so we can learn what people actually need before we expand. Over time the plan is to carry the established grinder brands, add the accessories that surround them (scales, tampers, storage) and eventually the brewing gear itself.
