Description
If you have ever skipped opening the interesting bag of beans because it meant purging half a hopper first, the grinder is what stopped you, not the coffee.
The G255CV is built around one dose at a time. You weigh in what you want, grind it, and what comes out the chute is what you put in. That is what makes trying three coffees in a week practical instead of wasteful.
- Yesterday's coffee stays out of today's cup: the grinder is built around one dose at a time, and the hopper cover, air blower and spring-loaded powder outlet exist to keep retained grounds from carrying over between beans.
- The dose you weighed reaches the basket: whole-machine plasma anti-static keeps grounds from clinging to the chute and scattering off the cup.
- A setting you can write down: the adjustment ring is numbered, and conical burrs are forgiving to land on a setting you like and return to it without babysitting the grinder.
- The blind shaker is not a separate purchase: it comes in the box with tamping built in, so you distribute and tamp in the same vessel you ground into.
Who this is for, and who it isn't
Buy it if you change beans often, pull espresso at home, and want single dosing without stepping up to a large flat burr machine and its price. Buy it if counter and cabinet clearance matter, or if you would rather find the blind shaker in the box than buy one separately.
Skip it if you want maximum clarity and separation in the cup from light roasts: a conical is not trying to be a large flat burr, and if that is what you are after, spend the difference and buy the flat burr grinder instead. Skip it if you brew large batch filter daily: this grinder is not built for speed. Skip it if you want a motor with no wear parts: this uses a DC brushed motor, and brushes are a wear item over a long service life.

The grinder is what stopped you, not the coffee
If you have ever skipped opening the interesting bag because it meant purging half a hopper first, you know the problem.
This one is built around one dose at a time. You weigh in what you want, grind it, and what comes out the chute is what you put in. That is what makes trying three coffees in a week practical instead of wasteful.
A conical is not trying to be a flat burr
If you want maximum clarity and separation from light roasts, spend the difference and buy a large flat burr grinder. That is what it is for.
Two other honest limits: this is not built for speed, so daily batch filter will frustrate you. And the motor is DC brushed. Brushes are a wear item over a long service life.
Frequently asked questions
Start with the brew method, not the spec sheet. Espresso needs a fine, repeatable grind and rewards flat burrs or a stepless conical. Pour-over, drip and French press run coarser and are far more forgiving, so a stepped conical covers all three.
If you are unsure, email us with how you brew and which machine you use. We will tell you whether a grinder fits — and if it does not, which one does.
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and delivered in 6–8 business days after that.
The window is stated before you pay rather than after. If yours passes, email us and we will chase it rather than wait for you to ask twice.
US orders ship with the US plug variant. Where a manufacturer does not publish a voltage or plug type, we say so in the Shipping & Returns section above instead of assuming — and you can email us and we will get it from the supplier in writing before you buy.
Contact us first, with photos or a short video. We take it up with the supplier on your behalf and arrange a replacement or a refund.
Reach us before opening a payment dispute — it is faster, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. Contact us before sending anything back — returns received without notice take considerably longer to process.
Not yet as catalogue items. If you need a burr set or a spare for a grinder you bought from us, email us and we will source it from the supplier and quote you.
We would rather tell you that than list parts we cannot reliably ship.
