Description

64 mm flat burrs, and 7.5 kg of grinder holding them still.

Flat burrs only cut consistently if the body around them does not move. This one is die-cast aluminium and weighs 7.5 kg. The mass is not a spec-sheet flourish, it is what keeps a 1400 RPM motor from shifting the burrs while they work.

  • The burr size the espresso category settled on: 64 mm stainless steel flat burrs. Flat geometry narrows the spread of particle sizes, which is the part of the grind espresso reacts to most.
  • No detent to land between: adjustment is stepless, so you set the grind where you want it rather than on the nearest click.
  • Built to stay put: die-cast aluminium housing, 7.5 kg, 300 W motor at 1400 RPM.
  • The dose lands in a 58 mm cup, not on the counter: a metal dosing cup with an anti-static powder ring sits in its own cradle under the chute.

Who this is for, and who it isn't

A good fit if you pull espresso at home, want 64 mm flat burrs, and have the counter depth and clearance for a machine that weighs 7.5 kg and stands somewhere between 32 and 36 cm tall.

Look elsewhere if you single dose, because this is a hopper grinder. If you want to vary burr speed, because this build has no speed control knob and the manufacturer states so explicitly. If you need the hopper capacity or the height settled before you buy, because the manufacturer's own documentation gives two figures for each. We have reproduced all of them in the specifications rather than pick the flattering ones. And if the burr coating matters to you, because the manufacturer calls it a titanium coating without publishing its thickness, composition or service life, and we are not going to turn that into a material claim.

Three figures are inconsistent across the documentation we were given. We reproduce every version rather than pick the flattering one:

  • Bean hopper capacity: the product attributes say up to 90 g. The specification table says about 50 g, and two of the manufacturer's own product images label the hopper "capacity about 50 g". Two sources out of three say 50 g.
  • Height: the specification table gives 13 × 21 × 32 cm. The manufacturer's own dimension drawing gives a height of 36 cm. Plan for the taller figure if cabinet clearance is tight.
  • Model number: GZ-GF64 in the product attributes, IT-GT64 in the specification table.

On the titanium coating. The manufacturer describes the burrs as a "64 mm stainless steel titanium coating flat burr". We record that because it is what they publish, but nothing states the coating's thickness, composition or service life, and a coating is not a solid material, which is why the word titanium does not appear in this product's title.

The manufacturer states explicitly that this build has no speed control knob. It publishes no grind-step count, micron range or retention figure. Ask us and we will request any of it from the supplier in writing before you buy.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping is free on every order. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and delivered in 6–8 business days.

Voltage is selectable on this listing. Choose the 110 V / 60 Hz US variant and that is the build that ships. If you order a 220–240 V variant to a US address, we will contact you before dispatch rather than send a machine you cannot plug in.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. There is no restocking fee. If anything about the condition of your order is wrong on arrival, contact us before doing anything else and we will sort it out with you.

Warranty

GZZT publishes no warranty term for this model, so we do not advertise one. If your unit arrives damaged or fails out of the box, contact us and we will take it up with the supplier on your behalf. If you want coverage confirmed in writing before you buy, ask us and we will get it.

GZZT GF64 Coffee Grinder, 64mm Flat Burr Espresso Grinder

Why 64 mm, and why 7.5 kg is part of the specification

Flat burrs cut between two parallel rings, so a bean passes through a single gap and comes out closer to one size. A larger diameter does that faster and with less heat per bean, because there is more cutting edge doing the same work. 64 mm is the size the espresso category converged on for exactly that reason.

The weight is not decoration. Burrs only hold their gap if the assembly around them does not flex, and a 1400 RPM motor puts real force into that assembly. 7.5 kg of die-cast aluminium is what keeps the two rings parallel while they cut, which is also why this grinder asks for real height and a counter that can take it.

What the manufacturer does not tell you

The supplier's documentation gives this listing two model numbers, GZ-GF64 in the attributes and IT-GT64 in the specification table, two hopper capacities, 90 g and 50 g, and two heights, 32 cm in the table and 36 cm in its own dimension drawing. All of them are printed in the Specifications above instead of us choosing between them. If any one decides your purchase, ask us and we will get the answer from the supplier in writing before you order.

On the burrs, the manufacturer is more specific than most: its own product imagery calls them a "64 mm stainless steel titanium coating flat burr". A coating is not a solid material, and nothing published says how thick it is, what it is made of, or how long it lasts. So we record what the manufacturer says, and we do not put the word titanium in the product title. It would suggest a titanium burr, which this is not.
