Description

Grounds on the counter, grounds in the chute, grounds everywhere except the basket.

This grinder is built around containing them rather than around a spec sheet: a sealed-lid catching cup, an anti-static coating along the grind path, and a blower to clear what stays behind. You weigh a dose in, you get a dose out.

  • What you weighed in is what you brew: single dosing, with a magnetic dosing cup that seats itself under the chute instead of being held there.
  • Static handled at the surface: the grind path carries a food-grade anti-static coating, so grounds are less inclined to cling to it on the way down.
  • The chute clears between coffees: a blow-out funnel purges what stays behind, so one bag does not carry into the next.
  • An all-metal grind path: 48 mm burrs in an aluminium body, with a sealed lid on the catching cup to keep the dose off the counter.

Who this is for, and who it isn't

A good fit if you want a single-dose workflow and a contained one: sealed cup, coated chute, blower, and you grind a dose at a time rather than filling a hopper.

Look elsewhere if you want the burr geometry published, because the manufacturer lists 48 mm burrs without stating whether they are flat or conical, and we will not guess at it. If you want a heavy machine, because the published weight is 3.4 lb (1.5 kg), and mass is part of what holds burrs steady under load. And if you want a retention figure or a grind-step count, because the manufacturer publishes a retention percentage we cannot verify and no step count at all. We would rather leave both out than repeat a number we cannot stand behind.

  • Feed: single dose, with a magnetic dosing cup and a sealed-lid catching cup
  • Cleaning: blow-out funnel

Two things in the documentation we were given do not hold up, and we have corrected rather than reproduced them:

  • Country of origin: the supplier's attributes state "US (Origin)". This unit ships from China. We have listed China above, because that is where it is made.
  • Burr description: the same sheet calls this a five-blade design and a 48 mm burr design in consecutive sentences. Blades and burrs are not the same mechanism. We have kept the burr specification, which the rest of the documentation supports, and dropped the blade wording.

The manufacturer publishes no burr geometry, no motor wattage, no voltage, no dimensions and no grind-step count. It does publish a retention percentage and a grinding time, neither of which we can verify, so neither appears on this page. Ask us and we will request any of it from the supplier in writing before you buy.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping is free on every order. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and delivered in 6–8 business days. This unit ships from China, whatever the supplier's own listing says about its origin.

Voltage is not published for this model and is not selectable at order. Ask us before ordering and we will confirm the US configuration with the supplier in writing.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery under our Refund Policy. There is no restocking fee. If anything about the condition of your order is wrong on arrival, contact us before doing anything else and we will sort it out with you.

Warranty

This grinder is sold unbranded and the manufacturer publishes no warranty term for it, so we do not advertise one. If your unit arrives damaged or fails out of the box, contact us and we will take it up with the supplier on your behalf. If you want coverage confirmed in writing before you buy, ask us and we will get it.

Where the grounds actually go

Every complaint about single-dose grinders is a complaint about the last ten centimetres. Grounds build a static charge on the way down the chute, cling to it, and either stay there until the next coffee pushes them out or leap off the cup when you lift it away.

Three parts of this grinder exist for that: a coating on the grind path so grounds are less inclined to stick, a sealed lid on the catching cup so what lands stays landed, and a blower to push out what remains. None of it is exotic. It is just the part of the design most grinders at this size skip.

What the manufacturer does not tell you

This grinder is sold unbranded, with no model number and no published warranty. That is ordinary in this category, but it means there is no manufacturer support line behind it, and we would rather say so than imply one exists.

The supplier's own listing states the country of origin as the United States. It is not. This unit ships from China, and we have corrected the specification above rather than repeat the claim. The same sheet describes the grinder as five-blade in one line and 48 mm burr in the next, quotes a retention figure below a fifth of a percent, and refers to a patent it does not identify. We have kept only what the rest of the documentation supports. If the burr geometry decides your purchase, ask us and we will get it from the supplier in writing before you order.
