Cleaning the grinding chamber usually costs you your dial-in.
A quick-release burr carrier with auto-locking adjustment means the burr comes out for cleaning and goes back on the setting you left it on.
- Cleaning does not cost you the dial-in: the upper burr releases for chamber access and the adjustment stays locked while it is out, so the setting you come back to is the setting you left.
- Yesterday's coffee does not turn up in today's shot: the chamber opens for a brush-out when you change beans, instead of purging dose after dose to clear what is still inside.
- Shot-to-shot consistency instead of shot-to-shot surprises: 64 mm stainless flat burrs. Flat geometry narrows the particle spread, the part of the grind espresso is most sensitive to.
- Repeatable doses, both hands free: a touch panel with manual, single-cup and double-cup timed programs, and a fork that holds most double-ear portafilters while it runs.

On most grinders, opening the chamber means losing the setting you spent a week finding. So you put the cleaning off, and yesterday's coffee keeps turning up in today's shot.
Here the upper burr releases for chamber access while the adjustment stays locked. The setting you come back to is the setting you left, which is what makes changing beans a two-minute job instead of a purge.
Built for a bench, not a small counter
If you want a compact single-dose grinder, this is the wrong shape. The fork holds most double-ear portafilters, so a bottomless or single-spout basket will not seat in it.
And there is no published step count or micron scale for this model. The manufacturer does not provide one and we will not estimate it, if you need to compare it numerically against a named grinder, ask us and we will request the figures.
Frequently asked questions
Start with the brew method, not the spec sheet. Espresso needs a fine, repeatable grind and rewards flat burrs or a stepless conical. Pour-over, drip and French press run coarser and are far more forgiving, so a stepped conical covers all three.
